You just read a well written, literary explanation as to why the character's appearance is becoming less appealing and you think the author is just trying to throw cold water on some horndog fans? That's low-key insulting to the author. This story is well written but people don't want to read anymore. Making him uglier isn't going to fix that imo. Trying to connect their artistic choices to crazy fans don't make sense to me

So TJ get uglier as Ian discover his true face, and slowly detaches himself
