Finally, a Change I'm Okay With

I've been a little grumpy lately that so many webtoon adaptions of novels change things for no reason, but I'm okay with this one!

In the novel, Grandpa actually fell DOWN those stairs, with Tia holding onto him. He remained conscious through sheer willpower and made sure that he cushioned her fall, because he didn't want Tia to get hurt again because of him. ╥﹏╥

So just seeing him collapse at the top of the stairs, instead of falling down them, is a vast improvement. I don't like Grandpa Lombardi getting hurt. ╥﹏╥

I think you’re mixing it up on what happened in the earlier chapters. Yes the grandfather did fall down a flight of stairs and he fell on top of Tia, when Tia tried to stop him from falling. That had already happened because she did injure her shoulder, and the grandfather did feel awful about it. But that was actually from fatigue and overworking. But yes, it happened in earlier chapters when she was young like around 12 or something.

Nono, he actually crashed again like back then, but this time he made sure not to fall on Tia.

Nope. In the novel, he fell TWICE. ╥﹏╥

The first time, he fell exactly like you said--Tia was much younger and hurt her shoulder. This latest chapter shows when he fell for the SECOND time, when Tia is an adult.

If you had paid attention to what I said, you might have noticed that by using the word AGAIN, I am referencing what happened the FIRST time he fell. Grandpa didn't want Tia getting hurt AGAIN like what happened the first time he collapsed on the stairs, and so the SECOND time, he made sure to cushion her fall and take the full impact himself. ╥﹏╥

It was a Major Plot Point in the novel, and sets up several important points for the novel's climax, so no, I'm not mistaken here. (●'◡'●)ノ
