The author made it clear tj wasn’t gonna be end game. Tj was just too toxic and didn’t really care for Ian unless it benefited him. I rather Ian be with someone he can be happy with and not miserable
The author never revealed who the endgame is. She only said that the "end" would be revealed midway through the final season. It could be with TJ, Jo, or neither.
