    they don't give them enough assistants

    Well, I’m not saying they are not overworked and underpaid but they should always have few chapters prepared ahead of time, even before getting approval for its publication , so it’s artist’s problem as well.

    They did. They got sick often, so it seems they ran out.

    Don't they always have chapters ready ahead of time regardless? Like for example, the current 53 is the latest one, I'm fairly sure the artist has up to chapter 58 finished. But because she's on hiatus after 53, those 5 chapters won't be out as well.

    Having chapters ready ahead of time is also for situations like this, she can take a break & the chapters still keep coming out. I remember one platform I wanted to publish a short comic on actually required creators to always have at least 10 chapters ready in advance.
    I can’t really complain since I’m reading this for free but I do miss it , things were just getting really good ┗( T﹏T )┛
