Yeah its like it has to reach that point before they could get a proper rest I hope publishers really do make a better working conditions for the authors
Exactlyyy. Like take proper breaks uk, rather than getting severe health issues and THEN taking breaks
It is possible they are being pressured by the publishers or platforms to meet a certain quota at a fixed rate or they will be dropped. Some authors even used the hiatus rest periods in their contracts to comtinue working just to catchup to that load
That sucks. Seriously do they think they are machines or something
I also think this contributes to some decline in art quality as series' go on. The poor authors and artists are rushed to get it out to a specific deadline. It's so sad.
It's so concerning how many authors take hiatus cuz of severe health issues. I feel concerned about them
