I believe readers should learn to differentiate between fiction and reality … because this is a story and options shared should only be on what the story line provided . It becomes unhealthy when you can’t distinguish between reality and fiction.

100%. i actually think it's SO fun to read the comments and all the discussions whenever a character makes a controversial decision. i think yigon's choice was warranted. he was physically harmed, under the impression that taekang had permanently abandoned him, and his assaulter is giving him a chance at freedom and LIFE. like the ml can be a piece of shit for 50+ chs but god forbid yigon makes one wrong choice
you are literally hoping we get drugged and, god forbid, assaulted. yigon is a fictional character that might (MIGHT) drug another fictional character. you are a real life person wishing harm on real people. there is a difference between defending a character's actions and understanding why they chose the decision they made. you're letting your personal life experience cloud your judgement on this story and lash out at other people. this is what we mean by separating fiction and reality.

You know what? I don't even think the ML is that much of an asshole. He's a little cold and a little bit of a jerk, but really he's just normal guy.
It sucks that he didn't believe the MC when we know the MC was telling the truth... But we can't forget that we only know the MC is telling the truth because we're reading a story and see his point of view.
The ML believed him enough to attempt to verify his story even though the MC portrays himself as an addict. If you've ever had to deal with an addict you know that you cannot trust them. You can love an addict but you cannot trust them ever... And the MC has spent years building the public persona that he is an addict.
No one in the comments would believe him when he said he had never done drugs and would have thought he was delusional from drug induced psychosis when he said his brother was trying to murder him... We probably wouldn't even have taken the time to verify his stories but the ML did.
Exactly like YES he is an asshole but literally he hasn’t did anything that wasn’t offered to him which sex being the main component was. And also the whole relationship was contractual so to be honest TK was doing what he was supposed to do. And I can’t find fault with because no one’s told Yigon to start actually falling while hiding his true agenda. I feel like had Yigon would have been upfront at the establishment of the contract the lines wouldn’t have been so blurred. Also I have cousin who is in active addiction which his mother tries to hide from us when I literally had to help her when he OD at my house long story short he told us he was going to the little corner store by my house and came back yup me and my aunt had to “quietly” take him to the hospital. Also I wholeheartedly agree with that statement but all in all this situation is very frustrating to read!
