I only know as much about the story as everyone else, this is just what I personally deduced from everything. I guess that means I'm right though Accidental spoiler warning... I guess? Lmao
"Who are you" his mother doesn't remember him because Yoshiki's existence is slowly being erased from the human world. His mom forgot to pick him up from the hospital as well. Seems like the more he 'mixes' with Hikaru the less stable his existence as a human is and he begins to fade from other people's memories, similarly to the villages. He'll most likely become something similar to Hikaru eventually... All in all, this is probably gonna end in tragedy somehow. Seems like Yoshiki will have to choose between his own humanity and Hikaru way sooner than I thought
