But in the last chapter (I just reread it) it said that baedong is a playmate and the king asked for Sam-Myeong so he could match the eldest prince’s high intellect so he will study and play with him so the prince gets stimulated in all areas
That makes sense, I think he is meant for the first prince and not third so it will be interesting to see how it unfolds

But they’re little kids atp so that’s not what the king had in mind he really meant baedong/playmate/study buddy as in that literally but as they grow older I’m sure that’s when the sexual feelings arise, because puberty and all. But for now it will only be a crush from Gyeon’s side and then it’ll grow into obsession
