I get that but I think the ml is also a shit person they all have their own 'trauma' and stuff but they all act horrible literally the only nice person is the poor kid err U know the one the mc was mean to, and I mean a lot of people r like mc I kin him just not in that degree lol idk abt liking him but those actions are what makes the story realistic er like good representation dykwim I'm not good at explaining anyways mc is not full of himself he does not in fact think he's at the top of the world, sure he does things that put himself first for his own selfishness but that's because he is a coward not because he is 'better' than everyone else. I get why U don't like him though but some of your reasons don't make sense the dinner scene yeah I agree with that one poor ml but mc doesn't understand why and he was trying to put his best intentions into what he was doing though it backfired and you understand what he was trying to do the author made what he thinks pretty clear but like the ml choking him was crazy I mean like valid crashout but if Ur inflicting violence Ur becoming like the person U hate so that was wild anyways yah
