I think (and I might be wrong) Ishiki is having feelings he never had before. He’s confused, jealous, and hurt that Kurashina even suggested he partnered with someone else, yet he still loves him a lot and knows fully well Kurashina was doing that for his sake, but he wants him to treasure himself as well. So he’s basically annoyed and confused with both himself and Kurashina, but he’s taking it out on him.

it’s getting a little clearer, and i don’t actually mind this miscommunication arc we’re in bc i think it’s natural and realistic for their age and stuff— but one thing i don’t understand yet is ishiki’s apparent annoyance at kurashina. is it bc kurashina acts in a way that is overbearing??
