Red haired to me seems like someone the MC could’ve been if his father didn’t save him when he was still a kid, so I actually like him a lot. Just curious to know what his backstory is and if he was raised in that cult/hidden society like the MC was (I suspect he was).
It's because they have no evidence outside of his attack on them prior, just suspicion and circumstantial evidence at best of red hairs involvement. If they were to attack or press him too hard then it would be deemed unjust and MCs dad can only throw his influence around so much before people are like "you cannot do that". They can't trust them but they can't do anything but watch and tentatively follow along in hopes of getting something because they have no other leads. Especially since MC is beginning to suspect his dad wasn't super thorough first timeline so there is probably information they severely lacked then and still do now.

I don't understand why are they so chummy with the red hair, I not saying they should be actively hostile to him bc lbh everyone's an adult and there's strategy to it but idk I feel like the hatred Hong and MC should felt for the red hair who's a wanted awakened and also probably a serial killer (who also murdered a whole orphanage to get to tae woo), I'm just not feeling the vibe. They're all seemed so chill and suddenly we have another blue haired villain, supposedly.
Am I supposed to feel something for the red hair except utter disgust?
