Alright, ghosting is a complex issue. Dohwa ghosted her because he chose himself and left for good after being rejected. It wasn’t about staying; rather, he respected her feelings for Eunhyeok back then and chose to distance himself.
On the other hand, Eunhyeok’s ghosting involved a betrayal of Su-ae’s trust and affection, leaving her to deal with confusion and heartbreak.

Dohwa’s ghosting also involved betrayal but not of the romantic nature. They were not just some acquaintances. They were very good friends. She did so much for Dohwa too and the minute she rejected him he ghosted her without any justification. It’s fine if Dohwa wanted to be away from her and give himself time to heal but he should have told her before. He should have said something, anything. He was her friend before anything else and he like Eunhyeok just disappeared from her life without a trace. Dohwa and Eunhyeok are both two sides of the same coin. The only difference is we know why Dohwa disappeared. We still have to find out why Eunhyeok disappeared.

He was her friend before anything else. By leaving without telling her he showed her that she was only reduced to a love interest for him. It’s okay to leave to heal yourself but he should’ve said something. If I was rejected by my dear friend whom I love I would tell them. I would tell them before leaving because they meant that much to me. Even though I would be unbelievably hurt that friend had always been there for me. They deserve to know. Su-ae rejected him because she was already dating someone else. Dohwa never confessed before it was too late. He didn’t even give her a chance to discuss things. Dohwa meant a lot to Suae too. He disappeared from her life like he didn’t exist and that did hurt her no matter what reason. Maybe Eunhyeok had an even bigger reason for leaving that we don’t know yet. The point is in their own respective relationships both Dohwa and Eunyeok hurt Suae. They betrayed her love and trust in them.
Reality speaking, ten years without contact—like literally being dumped out of nowhere—really sucks. That’s why I easily understand Su-ae’s feelings about having a hard time accepting or interacting with Eunhyeok. I can’t blame her for feeling that way; she’s absolutely right that he should never underestimate what a 10-year gap means. Everything could change, including her feelings and the way she treats him.
She’s actually strong for meeting him again and learning to let him go. If she ever ends up with Dohwa, I think he deserves it for staying by her side, and Su-ae deserves it for moving forward with her life.
If she ended up with Eunhyeok, it feels like Su-ae is just seeking validation and answers for why he left her for 10 years, then proceeding to be together again as if nothing happened. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
