It depends where you watched the adaptation, if it was on an app like YouTube or along those lines, people aren't accustomed to yaoi like actual yaoi readers are, so expect those comments on any yaoi animation adaptation, unfortunately.

I stumbled across the animation adaptation and all the comments were like 'wtf did I watch'. So now I wanna make sure whether those comments were just homophobic or this story is actually not as sweet and wholesome as the description makes it seem
