Yeah the man in jail killed his brother but song myungshin was the cause of it cause he told the man about his brother. The woman and the kid was the wife and children of the man that killed his brother. Like u can see the Flashback the kid grew up and for the stuff maybe the husband brought it home after killing? the man in jail was the one who physically murdered his little brother. he was originally supposed to kill myungshin for revenge against yoohan since he had a vendetta against him (yh used to work for loan sharks), but myungshin ordered the murderer to kill yoohan’s brother instead since it’ll affect yh more. but the murderer wouldn’t have known about yh’s brother if myungshin didn’t tell him, hence why yh says that myungshin is the murderer
The wife said something in a vague way in chap 14, she said "when I had gone back". Or aomething along those lines. I'm assuming she had gone to the murder scene and took some stuffs that was left there? I think she took the victims stuffs(lee hyunsoo) in a sign of guilt maybe? Idk
