Idk if it was ever said but I understood it as Natalia's family being the original vampires—I mean their mom looks like Dracula's daughter or sumn. What ever would a bunch of new age vampires, with only one pure blood, do with her and her friends who has their blood? Lololol. Anyway, the power of friendship!!!!
