a lot of comments asking" are we supposed to sympathise with him?" And no no you are not, you all fail to understand that this just shows the depth of his character. He was a doomed villain from the start. Started on the same path with Ruby , and litteraly like Ruby ,he wanted to move away from his father's shackles but instead he got embraced by his trauma which strayed him off his path and made things worse,essentially making him somebody he hates to his core( his father )You are not suppose to sympathise with him ,you are just suppose to understand the complexity and reasoning he's a gray character who failed to embrace the light.he's still bad u just see how both Ruby and cesare started from the same line and ended up with 2 different endings ,2 sides of the same coin
