Can someone explain to me the novel and manhwa situation? Some say the manhwa only covers ...

From what I know, the manhwa only covers 1 volume. There is a total of I think 8 volumes that are like the main story and 4 other ones that are extra stories and stuff. They are all available on Ridi but in Korean only

I found volume two and yes it wasn't in the manhwa adaptation, i checked volume 1 and yep same ending just slightly different with adding that wooyeon left and all, well it was implied in the start of volume 2 and allbut they stayed in contact and went on vacations together and inseop came back..... No spoilers dw, but it's so hard to read the novel idk how I'm gonna finish volume two hahahaha but i can't stop reading i hope to find all the other volumes translated or at least when i finish all the available volumes that they aren't that tied up and that it's no open endings

Honestly though, even after reading most of the translated stuff, I don’t feel like we got a good conclusion to end the story. I’m not sure if the books are out of order but it doesn’t make sense to me ( the timeline of the story).
