as a scanlator, they do not receive any compensation for their scanlations, but aggregator sites (like mangago) do through ad revenue. this is a common issue within the scanlation community and this person is far from being the only one who thinks this way. I hope this clears it up a little

they say theyre restricting uploads because people profit off work that isnt theirs but uploaders on here literally dont make any money from it so im really confused?? its an illegal distribution its not like they have copyright on it. im not trying to attack them or anything i just want to understand what the issue actually is here
