I gave up and started reading straight manhwas which mean a whole new selection and it was the best decision ever
tbh i was talking about more so yaoi/josei stories. and don’t get me started on the shoujo ones
which ones? not that isekai or regression nonsense either, the authors are just getting lazy with them looking like 5 other stories i can’t
Yeah, it’s like that. Recently everything is so repetitive and the same tropes. Characters are so dull, annoying or plain awful, authors don’t even care about logic or circumstances anymore, and set up ridiculous situations just to fit in their “plot”. It’s tough. I sometimes try to change genres and it helps a little. If you haven’t read “solo leveling” or “murim login” yet, give those a try. They’re action/shounen without romance, but they’re really good and there are a bunch of chapters for you to read for now.
so far my absolute favorite manhwa that hasn't left my mind for a single second since reading it is Muse on fame (I literally recommended it to basically everyone I know) and a non romance one is Homeless/No home
(btw on my profile every manhwa that's marked as "read" are manhwas that I personally really enjoyed)
i stay reading shounen bc like you said, the plots in that genre are far better than others. whole time i’m catching up on murim login rn lmao, i stay on asura website. as someone who reads yaoi on this site primarily, just wished i can find more good recent stories
