the misogyny and internal misogyny in BL communities has to checked :/ you guys use that word wayyy to easily. using that word over a FICTIONAL character (who is so obviously being used as collateral) is so crazy to me. The real villain in this story is the male lead and thats a convo your misogynistic asses aren't ready for

She is a bitch though. There is no scene in this manhwa that would have you assume otherwise. Now that is by design and you could call that misogynistic. But people disliking her is not. She didn't deserve what happened but we literally can't do anything about that.

The way you're missing the point completely and you continue to use that derogatory word just to rage bait sums up the "yaoi community" in a nutshell lol. You can dislike her cause bL authors usually make the woman a villain despite the ML being a demon spawn cause they know the misogyny of this community will work in their favor, but you don't have to use that word is what im saying lmao it's not just me calling it misogynistic it IS misogynistic

Um the male lead is a fuccing piece of shit asshole and the biggest villain in this story for sure. That doesn't make her less of a bitch. Not all woman are bitches I don't understand how calling it like it is for this certain character is now being misogynistic towards all woman. As a woman I can definitely distinguish clearly between a woman who's a bitch and a good woman just as I can distinguish between a good man and an asshole. Fiction or not.

The fact that you are telling someone how they can and can't dislike someone or something else is the most twisted thing I've ever heard. Especially because it's a fictional character. You my dear can like or dislike however you want that does not make you the dictator of how someone else does. That's the real problem.... and hate, hate is too

As a woman, i'd call any FICTIONAL character regardless of gender a bitch if i wanted to/their action depicted as such. Like i dont really understand why would someone police me for how i can or cant say to a FICTIONAL character— especially if they also pointed finger and accuse me of being a misogynist when my whole life I've tried my best to distance myself with the misogynistic and patriarchy society/culture of mine. It's very disheartening that even in FICTIONAL setting I can't do whatever I want/imagine without getting accused lmao.

You people in yaoi communities are so weird... it's fiction. And the girl was a bitch, that doesn't mean the ml is a good person, he is pure evil. The fact a fictional character is of female genre/sex does not automatically make her a good person. You guys throw the word "misogynistic" around so lightly nobody is taking it seriously anymore because of comments like yours. Bfr

Also I forgot to add, but I'm not gonna waste my emphatic self for a FICTIONAL character who's rude from the beginning and never have any redemption shown for even a glimpse especially in a fucked up story like this. I can understand her reasoning and tried to walk on her shoes, but me personally? I'd never resort to such violence when I know my 'partner' is a killing maniac like Garon lol

I agree. I find it more offensive how people think it's Ok to generalize and stereotype an entire group of people, race or sex based off of the bad apples. There are good and bad people in every race, sex, religion, etc out there doesn't make them all bad. And fr this is a fictional story. If they hate the yaoi community and bl authors wth are they doing here reading yaoi by a bl author. Just makes one think they're the actual ones rage baiting in the comments.

I agree with you. I'm making a broader point than the case above. The word "bitch" is used for any jealous/hurtful or antagonistic woman. Immediately. Which doesn't happen so often with male characters (even the most despicable and toxic ones). Even if they're words used on fictional characters, we're fueling a stereotype and it ends up seeming normal (like calling a woman a "bitch" for the slightest thing OR even other episodes of violence, possessiveness, etc.).

I've met just as many men as woman that were bitches. Bitch is a term that can foshure be used for any gender it is not just for us woman. Seems more misogynistic to claim it's only a negative term for woman than the actual word itself.

Had she been a man in this story, he still would have been a bitch. Her entire character in this story is just to antagonize the MC for a petty reason. The author is the reason she's written that way. I don't see why you're mad at the readers for that. Her character was completely unnecessary and provides nothing to the story. Her character could have been entirely omitted. The author is a misogynist. But I do not think it's fair to be so hostile towards the readers. The king in this story is also a bitch, an asshole, and a general piece of shit. I'd call him every awful name in the book if I had the time. Y'all are taking this entirely too seriously. I think it's fine to comment on the fact that there is misogyny in many yaoi manhwa despite that many popular ones are written by women. This is not the place for that though.

Under a yoai story where most of the comments are women themselves using derogatory words used to antagonize women for centuries is the perfect place to point this out tbh
