He’s a wizard like Eyra and he came to trastasa to study dragon mates, which is his main interest, in this case it’s Nain and fell for him midway to which led to him deciding to kill Amon. In this chapter in particular, he used Nain to call out those who were stealing from him bc he needs to closely watch Nain again and successfully he later on started seeing and entertaining him after this.
