the comment section is wild as with every comment section under a toxic yaoi but i can't just look past the misinformation i'm seeing just because people think they know stuff that they don't actually really know about. speaking and sharing misinformation about a sex practice that you personally are not a part of ain't doing justice to the practice, and is the reason why ppl who practise bdsm are still seen as immoral and stigmatised by society.
and i am saying all that as someone who has been doing bdsm as a dom for YEARS + active in the bdsm community with friends of various roles who also engage in bdsm. I'm not scared of sharing this because bdsm is not immoral, and shouldn't be villainised because the golden rule of bdsm has always been about CONSENT. it's because of ppl who hv twisted ideas of bdsm and think it's alw abt inducing "abusive" practices against subs that ruin the rep of BDSM. do ppl still know the meaning of "abuse"? I have no idea what kind of things ppl hv been learning abt bdsm from unreliable sources, but not everything that portrays people getting beaten up while in bondage and sexually engaged is bdsm, it sometimes is simply just r*pe i fear (⊙…⊙ )
