agreed. It's kinda strange how everyone seems to have this "it's just goblins" mentality in this world when they've been clearly depicted as being so predatory and in such numbers. It's like judging your might against a single, lone fire ant instead of against the entire colony that would swarm you if you step on their mound. (but worse)
Someone should let these politicians go fight goblins themselves to see if "it's just goblins" anymore

The king looks like a decent guy though, he's level headed, empathic, and is not selfish.
