I could not have a man like Akitora. I'd die over all the competition I got, just shout out to the wife because having a man that you know can just leave you any day of the week purely because of interest or curiosity has got to be tiring. Just seeing her and how much she probably have to chase after him is making me tired...

Man, I totally feel you. I can read a little of Japanese so actually I already read the raw of chapter 4 long ago, and it made me hurt so much. For Rogi, and for the wife also. No matter how much of a great person you are, if you cannot wholeheartedly love your wife/your lover/the person you're together, you're being an asshole. And Akitora obviously have some feelings of love toward Rogi, platonic love maybe. But the way he chose not to be together with Rogi just makes me feel so furious. Even though his image in the manga (and in Yondaime too) is like a super cool leader, to be honest I don't like him.

I agree. The way Yakuza is represented in mangas, it is truly frightening to have a relationship with a member of Yakuza, let alone be a wife of one. They run bathhouses, salons, bar, etc. There are a lot women and men that they can choose to get theirs into. People literally want to done by them, along with the power and fortune they suppose to come with. The machismo these men somehow desperately need to uphold is just disheartening. A typical mindset would be "the more women you sleep with, the more of a man you are" and have sex be their proof of power, such like in orgies with anyone who is willing or not to be penetrated. As a partner, you just don't know how loyal your partner will ever be, if he will come back to you every night. Specially Akitora since he is the heir of the group.
