Yes please!! You won't regret it since the tiny details in the novel will make your reading experience much better. The inner monologues, especially, offer so much more insight to the characters. Not that the manhwa doesn't have that but it's still lacking compared to the original material, even more so because the story is full of complex morally-gray characters, so you'll definitely enjoy it

If you want more Wonwoo and 'Nani' bonding moments, I suggest reading from the beginning since the manhwa cut a lot of their interactions. Imo, those moments that seem trivial actually important for the early stages of their relationship. But if you find that it would take a lot of time then you can start from around chapter 20

Right??? I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, maybe to the artist those parts weren't important but tbh some of those gave more context.
Vol. 5 is where the real shits happened, so you might wanna hold off on reading that part a bit more, at least until the translator uploads vol. 6 (since it ended in a bit of a cliff hanger)

Thanks for the recommendation as well..
the context is.. him talking to nani actually builds more of a connection they have. It is much deeper in novel.
I have a habit of checking final chapters.. and skimmed final part and yeah.. it is cliffhanger and now mentioning Ji won woo now collab with Gye fam and also gone, cannot be discovered.. the siblings talk, the purifier and the entrace of Yang family and I am so lost like, this is still the middle of something.. hahaha

You're welcome! Exactly, those skipped parts actually made it more believable that someone like Wonwoo could get attached to a 'machine' and Gye Yoon could be jealous of Nani (which is funny lol). The manhwa lacks those buildups, even in the recent chapter, it couldn't really capture the anger and concern Gye Yoon had when he learned about the pervert entering Wonwoo's apartment, especially about the toilet part
"Not all espers are perverts" Oh, Gye Yoon you spoke too soon
Tho I gotta say the manhwa doesn't do this part/chapter justice, so I really recommend the novel. The fan translation of the novel is already far ahead anyway, and i can guarantee it will worth your time. They're certified freak4freak so it's satisfying to read
