Maybe they read some similar stories but at the end the fl go back together with the ml, like most manhwa and novel are like that with the shitty ml, I think they like the regret arc when the ml beg and shit.
Ngl I think the author wants that . So far the husband is not one of those "obsessed with the FL bc he sees her as his possession." there are no active female antagonist either who he ends up favoring over the FL cliché which is often a foreshadowing of the husband ending alone and obsessed over fl but not liked back.
Actually so far who he acts and is written reminds me Abbondoned empress where the author made the husband in the second timeline because he never did the horrible things he did to fl and has never lusted for the other girl.
I'm just saying it's EXTREMELY rare that a male charcaters who has liked or has been with another woman ends up being the ML in these kind of fictional stories. MLs are by default often must be lovestruck only for the heroine.
