First chapter I was already going insane with the metaphor.
The accusation Character 1 questions the lie changing "People" to "Truth". denies the small lie, using a physical fact as an alibi: I've been holding your hand this whole time. This is them saying, Look at my commitment to you, that proves I couldn't have committed the small deception. the severed hands. their commitment "holding hands" is giving pain and mutilation.
The title of the manwha "truth or dare"
The Truth Character 2 is asked, Did you do that? a question of truth. They respond "No" which is a lie. They then try to force a new, false absolute Truth into the scene "Truths cannot lie" to evade the question.
The Dare means the true "dare" of the relationship is to trust the other person despite clear evidence of damage and manipulation. Character 1 is dared to believe the lie over the reality.

honestly i can see why people call this bl a masterpiece the way each character is crafted esp with the side characters as well they honestly don't even scream side characters however if ur someone who just cares only for the MC and ML you will probably get bored in the middle cuz the side characters get as much screentime as the mc and ml
But personally i love this story other than the part where the MC forgave the ML abit too quickly....and the ML was so nonchalant about it as well other than that this is a good read
