lol if anything, they would just be branded as the idol group that had a member die. Also, if they got a new member, they would probably be flamed online for “replacing the dead member.” They would be broiled in a completely different scandal. A lot of idol groups don’t ever get a new member and the new member can get bashed online for joining the group midway through, especially since the intense fans have followed the initial lineup since the beginning and will be protective of the initial lineup. It just wouldn’t be viable. Maybe if the bad member left on his own? They would have a sort of scandal about that for a bit, but it wouldn’t completely ruin their image. Though, it seems chongryeo doesn’t want ANY bad scandals at all, no matter how little.)

Spoilers below obviously
New member would never work, especially this long into their career and especially if they straight up replace a dead member
I recommend reading up on how much hate Yeri got for joining Red Velvet like half a year after their debut (August 1st 2014 debut and Yeri joined in March 2015)
Yeri till this day receives hate for that though obviously it subsided a lot, at the beginning it was horrible and it's just adding a member 8 months or so after debut
Vtic has an established fanbase and has been in the industry for years, it would not go well at all wnd would be disastrous for Cheongryeo
+ Cheongryeo picked all of the current members personally because they were the most skilled and least problematic
He would not pick a new wild card member that he didn't know anything about and couldn't control or change the past to fix their mistakes
Doubly so right after a member he previously selected because he thought he was a safe pick turned out like this
I'm not sure, but is this the time when Cheongreo kidnaps Moondae Moondae?!!!
I'm EXCITED☆ ( ~^0^)~
Nevermind, it's doesn't happen until after they both do a commercial together. Where Cheongreo got a glimpse of Moondae's pass code for the phone.
