I think in the novel chase mentions it but Josh said somthing about it (obviously a lie) and that's how dumb dumb chase fell for the lie and ignored it.

I read it back June and completed from the start till the end (when side stories were still in process) in just 2 days so I guess it's worth reading.
Honestly the novel has more details then the manhwa has, you can take the example of the new chapter. It's short (lmao) plus the manhwa didn't cover the detailed part where Chase asked Josh about the stitches. (Honestly chase so dumb that he took the lies as truth because anyone can literally see and guess it that it's a C-section scar TT)
