they've been low-key flirting since chapter 24. But it's just way too rushed, so it feels totally unnatural. And this page even used different translators for a few chapters here, so the vibe is just off. No idea why they chopped up so many panels and made the whole thing feel so damn fast.
I feel like it has something to do with the hiatus between chapters 14 and 15? Like the hiatus was due to the artists health and was stated to be for an unknown amount of time, so idk but maybe t's possible that maybe they're intentionally rushing it to finish it faster?
Hmm, why does it feel like the plots... smoothness and comprehension kind of went downhill after ch13 or somewhere there? It feels like a bunch of dialogue/scenes were cut out that would have provided more to the story but they cut it out since it looked like it "wasnt important" but it was since now it just looks like most scenes are incomplete. LIKE WHY did Josh and Chase start flirting at each other?! That felt so sudden and script-improvised! I felt no such development to warrant them being attracted and aggressively friendly or joke-flirty. Just suddenly like 2 dolls pushed on to each other by the author for the sex to be put in quicker instead of just developed like "people retold as a story" if that makes sense... I'll keep reading tho, despite the odd flow of narration and delivery I'm still curious how Chase will change and I'm waiting for that ending of Chase meets the precious baby boy
