QUIT GENSHIN, I say this as someone who spent 2hrs daily minimum on the game spent money and had the map 100% everywhere and quests and events done. Abyss and imaginarium theatre and the third thing all maxed out. Characters mostly to 90 and built. Even maxed out the tcg and 4 star hangouts and friendship.


Tldr I played the shit out of the game but it game me nothing back. once you realise how bad it is for you it will be the last thing you wanna play. FIND A GAME THAT VALUES YOU AND YOU ENJOY. I’ll personally rec persona5 royal wait till the sales ;)

As someone who has quit genshin multiple times.. i would agree and disagree. I came back because of durin and columbina, safe to say. It was worth it

no offence but genshin has 90% ass writing and I guess you do you. Based on the rest of my post I clearly enjoyed the game a lot heck I was playing tcg, the money was for one battle pass to get R1 bis for my main. All of you read money and dismissed the rest of it.

Just because you quit doesn’t mean you can’t follow the story and characters. I mean I was feeling the same but for carla and durin but I had 0 desire to go back to the game and I can just watch from afar. The concept of wanting “have” a character you like is the gacha beast.

Thanks the rec!! I did look it up and it’s made by bytedance aka owners of TikTok and hoyo, it’s also still and online service game. I am trying to play games that have no in game purchases just based of principle. I am also a lore player which is another reason it might not be great for me.

(Idk but have you tried Wuthering waves, infinity nikki,honkai? This all the lores and in games purchases but I'm not sure how deep is the purchases for if u get what I mean because I do spend on Mlbb so)

It’s okay I thought the same but there are plenty of games out there. Not free(usually) but you buy upfront on steam or other platforms.

I am currently playing persona 5 royal jrpg that I got for equivalent of 15US on sale. It takes about 100hours to finish the game and you can play multiple times for different endings so about 300-600hrs of gameplay.

I am not gonna lie yeah I have played all before but I have decided that for me games that are marketing any in game purchases is not a business model I agree with. I am convinced this model turns games to lifeless profit driven machines.

I would rather pay for the whole game as long as it’s priced reasonably. There’s also pirating but out of respect for the work I choose not to.
