yeah the timeline. it's set back to when the abuse all started and that was when he was at a young age and his brothers are older than him and also around that age like around 8-11 I'm pretty sure and since he's the youngest and considering how his mom was so desperate to get in the palace and even made him feel responsible for his death he's around 4-6 bc he can't take on any responsibility and he can't even really defend himself or do anything for himself without help considering how small he is.
i knew it, he was around 3-4 AND he has already suffered so much... obviously it doesn't excuse his behavior in the future but it does make some sense considering everything he's been through and he's probably gonna go through more bc I'm pretty sure in s1 he said he killed his brothers sssoo...
i actually really hope the other main character (i forgot how to spell his name..) actually is really nice to mc, considering how he has feelings for him he probably is which is why he's so attached.
