Zhenya is a lonely soul that doesn’t understand he’s lonely. He also doesn’t understand the concept of affection since he didn’t get any of that but later down the road he makes attempts at trying to bridge that gap. Taekjoo starts to pick up a little on this. Zhenya gets a lot of character growth (in his own way lol). Some of my favorite things we’ll see later down the line he loves hanging out with Taekjoo’s mom.

I can’t hate them. I know what happened and I know more shit is about to go down before we actually see some progress into their relationship but wow if you know the novel and how they are when they’re in love, wow just wow. Also thanks to novel readers who help out manhwa readers to understand Zhenya more, ofc his rape moments still makes him a rapist no matter what but wow thanks to novel readers you understand his character and even taekjoo’s characters more deeply. I love it.
