I only said about "people having problem with the Age gap" as if like they're the one who's going to be in the relationship.
There was also another manhwa regarding the Uke being only 19 and the seme being 25 (not even a huge gap) and the readers were saying "Pedo" and infact it was the Uke chasing the seme and not the seme chasing the uke, and also the seme tried to talk it out with the uke but he later on after months fell for the Uke's love for him.
We all talk out loud regarding such situations untill we're the one IN THE situation. (This is what I'm trying to say)

oh, i must’ve misunderstood you then. your comment just heavily implied you simply didn’t understand that there was grooming involved and tried to defend situations like this with “age gaps are okay.” especially with the part ‘unless one of them is a minor’ i thought meant you saw no problem with this as long as two people become intimate only after they’re both adults.
i do want to caution that the point of someone younger pursuing someone older makes relationships that may be potentially iffy more ‘okay’ is very wobbly. it’s a common argument people who don’t understand the severity of grooming use to put blame on an underdeveloped person, or, at least, someone with much less experience and maturity. in the end, it is still fully the older person’s responsibility as they are the mature one no matter who’s pursing who. if you were just referring to age gaps between two adults unrelated to this story, this wouldn’t have even been a point to make frankly. this is why i completely thought you were just defending grooming, my bad.
otherwise, yeah, if it’s simply just an age gap between two consenting adults who have the ability to make their own appropriate and calculated decisions, then there’s nothing wrong.
to play devil’s advocate a little though, i’m willing to bet a big majority of the people who seem to be critiquing age gaps, at least in this comment section, are actually turned off by the grooming aspect but aren’t articulating it well in their comment either through lack of elaboration or misuse of terminology. just a possibility. hope this is understandable and have a great rest of your day.
