At some point we're gonna have to talk about how some cultures don't see cousin/cousin relationships as actual incest and that Japan is one of those cultures that is fine with toeing that line.
I'm not saying it's acceptable I'm just saying it's been a long overdue convo.
'suppose it comes down to population density and/or isolation - japan was a closed country for two hundred years and that's gotta affect how a society views familial relations.
