    Yeah, pretty sure it’s a mistranslation. in the novel I remember him being illegitimate rather than not actually his child.

    From what I understood Cesare is the bio son of the mother before the marriage, ruby I'm not sure but I think she is the illegitimate child of the pope with another woman (not 100% sure). But this is all from what I understood by reading the manhwa so I could be wrong. It just makes more sense to me idk.
