Death is the easy way out. Memory is one of the most important part of self, losing the core chunk of his desire is a death on its own. Pilgyeon as we knew has died, but he still lives on as an open end for the possibility of redemption (one that won't threaten our main couple)
His live won't be easy anyway. He has lost his status and good chunk of wealth, in an entirely foreign country. He doesn't look happy and he would likely be so for a while
I'm so happy for them but what do you mean pilgyeon is alive ??? He literally RAPED soongap and made him suffer SO MUCH and literally tried to ruin his life but he still got away with it ?? He didn't even apologise to soongap. I am so mad rn. Like he deserved to die, istg he makes me so angry, like he actually disgusts me. He deserves to rot in hell.
