
I also appreciate a story with a pure evil villain with no tragic back story but I think for this one then it makes the most sense for them to explain his thought process since this story touches on psychological horror. They also showed the psychological abuse that Ruby was raised in so I feel that it also makes sense for him to have also been brought up in it. Maybe I’m biased because I like his character a lot lmaoo

Even the worst people has story other than "he is psycopath" stuff. Likez noone is born pure evil but the issue would be the execution and how this characters story is gonna be used, whats the author wants to tell other than "this man has tragic life too". Thats the issue here probably because his story will only make us sad and it wont change the plot or main cast that much, probably.
Honestly this "villain with a sad story" thing is getting boring i actually want a villain that's totally a black flag and don't have a reason for his evil thoughts then we don't have to see awww but he had a bad childhood
