Why not support other poly couples?
Probably because most of the time BL poly are toxic af and just used as a means to get to the endgame mono couple. Hard to support fully.

I don't think you understood what I said. They start out poly. It's toxic. The point is to shove two characters together. That's why other polys are hard to support.
2 people fighting over another is not polyamory. Polyamory is when multiple people choose to be in a relationship with each other or are open for others to engage with others, without conflict. So by definition it's not poly.
I didn't say two people fighting over one, I said the plot shoves two together. Not all poly situations are healthy, BLs tend to just show unhealthy ones.
