Author just follows some of these retelling loosely to concote this manhwa. The spoilers u see being mentioned are from future raws as eng updates ar 7 cjapter behind kor raws. Pls re read from beginning and get into it cuz its really an amazing intriguing work with complex build up and actually grey moral characters. Im not but thanksss thooo . Yes please read ennead. Infact we are about to end s2 n before s3 starts its gonna be a longhg hiatus (11 months aprox) so ig good time to get into it now unless u wish to marinate this for 2 more years. Yes Egyptian mythology is complex but its beautiful mystical and very animistic ie divinity attributed to natural occurrings n natural elements. Their spiritualism is was very attuned to scientific+ environment+ concept of magic . Once u start getting the hang of it you'll not find it as daunting and intimidating as you'd think. The manhwa plot is complex yes, layered a lot and follows og variations loosely and its also heavily nuanced with author hiding hints n spoilers everywhere. Its fun to dig theories get into character depths once u can get past the TWs. Unfortunately the rape scenes are graphic n unsettling and a lot of people dont read this for the incestuous setting. But its a story about gods not humans and gods arent actual blood related beings. Getting into ennead with this perspective will help u ignore the incest tag hahaha.
