This reminds me bro do u remember seth was sealed with maat's spell during his trial which would activate immediately if he ever attacked another person or rebelled during his probation period. The penalty of breaking the seal was immediate anhilation of his soul. When seth attacked horus n gouged his eyes. We didnt see the seal break when previously we've seen the seal trigger every time the instant seth would take even a simple fight stance forget attacking. The reason the seal didnt flare this time cuz horus made it appear as if Seth's attack wasnt an aggression. If he had dodged or blocked the attack seth wouldve activated the penalty so he knelt n clung to seth while having his eyes gouged so that his aggression wont be counted as a rebellion move. Wven in midst of their quarell horus still looked out for Seth's safety n saved hjs soul basically by accepting the onslaught. *passes u tissue * (=・ω・=)

Friendly reminder back when horus met nephyths in the infinite void in that secret utopic village he gave the blue jwel to her so that she would be able to leave the void with its help (the kids used the blue jwel to go in n out of the void without which you'd be lost) its a different thing that nephyths escaped void when sekhmet n isis freed her in ch 186. Horus realised she left when he went back to void to retrieve the ogdoad altar. He broke this mirror purely out of immature bratty fit not because he wanted to harm /kill neph or eliminate competition. He never sees neph as a competition because he's hyper aware that Seth's first priorities are his family. Precisely why his fear of abandonment got the best of him n he acted out.
