it's not off imo, it's just poor writing lmfao, lots of 'impactful' dialogue in this lacks the necessary buildup to make it seem meaningful, and in general jaekyung's character has always been very erratic in a way with poor explanation between his mood switches
well said, I totally agree. It had a lot of potential, but falls flat at the basics. I still enjoy reading it and all, but I just get a bit sad because the writing is not good
I constantly have a feeling that the writing is somehow off in this story, or the translation is not that natural. I feel myself cringing sometimes at the sentences, without any obvious reason. The translation is professionaly done, but I still somehow feel a lot is lost in translation. Sentences feel stiff, unnatural and very superficial. I always have a feeling this story could have benefited a lot if someone spent a bit more effort on the writing editing side. Characters show emotion but it does not compute in the writing itself, so weird! Am I hallucinating or do you guys feel it too?
