As someone who finished the novel in 2022, I'm telling you, you should absolutely read the novel especially since you've already made it this far. The pacing is so crazy such that you'd literally never get bored because kimcom always has things to do. Or more like scenarios/some angry constellation/some unexpected event chasing to bite their ass at every turn. Of course it also doesn't tire you out either, it's interspersed with small, sweet moments that really tie in all the personalities of each character. Oh and plus point, the novel is in first person POV from our favourite unreliable narrator Kim Dokja (to really drive home that omniscient experience) so it does let you understand him better when you go through 551 chapters in his thoughts. Additional bonus when you get to see how KDJ lowk swoons over YJH when the page is suddenly filled with paragraphs of just describing how attractive kdj thinks others see yjh, but let's be honest that's totally just kdj thinking it. I hope you read the novel!

Plot has great pacing and stays interesting. Nice artwork and SO happy they haven’t done harem stuff or gotten cringy subplots going on. The anticipation for BL is enticing but not stuck in your face constantly (I’d personally love for it to go that way, but it probably won’t).
I’m HEAVILY tempted to read the novel of this just based off of my staying intrigued enough to binge this much of it without hitting any slow spots. I was lamenting catching up fully when I hit 200 earlier today since this has been mega enticing.
