She doesn't know that he actually likes her and had dropped the thought of her interview. She only knows about his intentions at the start because of his brother: his intention to pretend to be a good person/boyfriend to get that interview done. I'm the car his brother told her "he'd even sleep with that lady to get the interview from her" (paraphrasing). So hey only view point is that everything has been an act in order to get her to do the interview. Every date: a lie.
And at the start, from his flashback, that really was his intention until he developed feelings. He just never admitted the end result.
So it currently stands that she only knows him as a lying s.o.b. who only pretended to care and slept with her only to use her for his own gains.
