I hate Kloff… by honesty he’s a selfish asshole. His the same man as world 1 Kloff. People forget that this relationship started with Kloff forcing a relationship with Aeroc, he could have courted him… but after the rape.. it became a coercion to marriage. You can’t say NO to me. He is so insecure about Aeroc’s title and wealth, he proposed having a baby immediately.

Yeah.. he does treat Aeroc like a Queen. He does his best as a husband and father to his family.. but that’s part of being a partner. He forced Aeroc into this role. It’s the bare minimum, he knew Aeroc wasn’t ready for a baby. Wanting and being ready for a baby are two different things. I wished they took it slow… that Kloff didn’t let his inferiority complex make him rush things. He needed to see Aeroc have panic attacks to adjust his approach (it’s in the novel… in small details that people overlook because Kloff and Aeroc looked happy)

Kloff really tried… I’ll admit that, but I can’t help but hate him for thinking of himself first instead of his partner’s best interest. It only appears to be sweet and beautiful because it’s all in Kloff’s Pov… we see Aeroc blushing when Kloff teases or kisses him.. acting like a slave… but what about Aeroc’s thoughts about this? How did Aeroc adjusted to all of this? Kloff’s sudden change of heart doesn’t exactly heal the trauma… it’s only buried… and never addressed.

Honestly.. if Wolflake didn’t pull that stunt in Aeroc’s soiree in the novel, Kloff would have married Rapiel again. And nothing would have changed… Kloff would still be living a lie until the imprint forces him to act otherwise, hurting both Aeroc and Rapiel in the process.

I love this story… but I really hate Kloff. His an amazing character, his really well written, but he’s one of the worst ML I’ve read. A waving black flag
