but what you‘re explaining is literally what everyone hated in bj alex. alex suddenly making a 180 acting all lovely and whatever. I actually prefer this pacing because I want to see jaekyung putting some effort into his redemption. him having to learn how to care for another human being is way more realistic and makes his character development so much more meaningful. plus I kinda enjoy his suffering and the mental gymnastics he does to redeem himself
So i never read bj alex, for some reason i couldn't get into it. and yeah obviously i would want some redemption for jaekyung but like... atp dan needs help, and no matter how much jaekyung changes, or how he gets rid of his anger management, and undersands dan as a person. Dan still needs help, and the only way for him to get help is to stay away from jaekyung and focus on himself. ,maybe years later they could get back together after they've both fixed their issues, but i dont see that happening. (and even if it did happen, a time skip is hard to execute well, especially for the manhwa medium.) but i digress.
like, I keep on facing dissapointment in each chapter that I read bc how is it taking him so LONG to realize and recognize his issues and treat Dan better. Like how many chapters do we have to keep watching him be like "oh no" "hes stoll not okay" "woops he almost died again, i ghuess he actually isn't okay." WHILE STILL ACTING POSSESSIVE and mean towards him. ATP even just having a conversation will not work bc Dan has been so traumatized that hes living with ptsd fight or flight responses.Im truly just reading bc the art is so pretty, but everytime HE shows up on the screen i get soooo bored. GROW UP MAN
