Its not because she likes the crown prince, and shes not doing it because she dislikes her husband. She fears that if she stays with her husband it will get him killed since that was what is in the story and because he sides with the 2nd prince. She wants to leave to save him as well as to escape the narrative
I like the story, genuinely. But what I definitely don't like is why do the hell is she pursuing that shitty ah crown prince when you have this magnificent man as your husband, gosh.
