Why did the mom have to have redemption?? She was a failure of a mother (⊙…⊙ )

literally I wanna puke at the sight of that groomer. She was literally a pedo while the guy rotting in jail was a victim really..I hate that the author showed him as the villain and her as someone who can easily get redemption by just aw its ok
