If the MC is gonna die for sure then both dying is the best ending I can think of. Ending it with the ML being left behind is just too too cruel man. Especially after how long he waited to have atleast this much.
Being left behind by your loved one is about the most cruel punishment that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. So in that way, this ending is perfect to me.
Am I the only one who hope the ending doesn’t change?
