i think she's talking about the first life that she can't remember, which is the life she had with carcel. she can't remember it because she died of natural causes (didn't kill herself) so she's not punished by memories.
There’s another lifetime before she married the emperor. In the very first timeline, she and Carcel got married but she died of sickness while he died at war. She’s finally getting those memories back.
